Chiggy Little
Owner and Instructor
After 25 years teaching, in schools and then in the water, I am now a fully qualified Solution Focused Therapist. I will be teaching adult 1-1’s and covering lessons when teachers are unavailable and will continue to be an active member of the team.
Tracy Marr
Instructor
Tracy is a lover of swimming and anything swimming related! Her life revolves around her passion for teaching and love of kids. Tracy has joined us from South Africa where she was 9 times masters gold medallist and holder of the South African record for the 50m freestyle. She is also a personal trainer.
Beth Davies
Instructor
Beth a fully qualified level 2 ASA instructor. The children will love her calm engaging manner which hides a determined and authoritative core. Beth’s day job is a maintenance operative for a care home, and she enjoys all sports, photography and has a passion for motorbikes, having been a trainer for four and a half years. She loves her Kawasaki EN 500 classic motorbike
Ross Sheppard
Instructor
Ross is incredibly popular with the parents and children due to his very relaxed and playful approach to lessons while still maintaining control and structure. He is particularly enjoys teaching nervous swimmers, both adults and children.
Yazmin Reeks
Instructor
After swimming competitively at a national level in her teens, Yaz rediscovered her love of swimming as a mother and ventured into the world of baby/preschool teaching with Water Babies. Her teaching style is confident, bold and playful whilst also progressively focused with fine attention to detail. She has many years teaching experience and is excited to be joining the team.
Lois Engelbrecht
Trainee Instructor
After many years as a competitive swimmer Lois came to us for work experience and has never left! She has just completed her pool rescue award ready to take her teaching exams in October and will be helping Beth with Saturday morning lessons while she gains experience. For anyone who remembers Connie, be prepared for a double take in style and technique!
Amy Gundry
Assistant
Amy has been assisting at the Dragon pool since she first went in the water to help her brother Sam gain confidence in his lessons 2 years ago. She is wonderful with the younger children and gaining confidence in every area. We can’t wait for her to turn 16 in order for her to qualify as the most experienced swim teacher ever.
Connie Little
Instructor
Connie is a very energetic and confident teacher currently studying for a degree in Marine Biology. In the holidays she will be helping out with events days and intensive courses.
